The XPRESSFIT mechanism is a patent pending design which allows a tap to be installed in under 3 minutes. Securing the tap in place is done from above the benchtop, with an aid of a power screwdriver or drill to drive the XPRESSFIT mechanism up to its’ locking position.

Easy to Install
All you need to install an XPRESSFIT
mixer is a Phillips head screw driver or drill. Uninstalling an XPRESSFIT mixer is just as easy and fast as installing one, it’s the same process in reverse. The only time the installer needs to get under the sink is to connect or disconnect the mixer to the water supply.
Finest Quality
Suprema also added nut sleeves to the inlet hoses for their XPRESSFIT range. This allows hand tightening (and prevents over tightening) of the PEX inlet hoses when connecting to the water supply. That is one less tool required to install a Suprema XPRESSFIT mixer. Load testing has been performed on the mechanism as per the Australian standards requirements. It is manufactured in stainless steel, which is lead free. This is in line with Australian plumbing standards movement towards using low lead materials.

Challenge
Plumbers face difficulty installing and uninstalling kitchen mixer taps due to the small space between the sink bowl and wall. This process can take up to an hour and requires backbreaking effort, sometimes needing more than one person.

The XPRESSFIT mechanism was developed as a solution to the challenge of installing mixer taps. It allows for easy installation and eliminates the need for a time-consuming process. This mechanism provides a solution for a variety of uses and is secured from above the benchtop using a basic screwdriver or drill.
What is Cool Start?
The cool start feature is available on a selected range of Suprema Xpressfit mixers
From an aesthetics view point, mixers look their best when the handle is aligned with the tap body, pointing upwards.
With the cool start feature when the mixer handle is pointing upwards, the tap is set to the cold water position hot water will begin to mix with the cold water as the handle is moved forward, towards the user.
Hot water will begin to mix with the cold water as the handle is moved forward, towards the user. This energy saving cool start feature minimises unnecessary use of hot water, minimises the times an instaneous hot water system is unintentionally activated. The cool start cartridge offers a full 90 degree range to mix cold and hot water as the handle moves forward.
This gives the user control of the widest temperature range possible with mixer tapware. The cool start handle is also ideal for situations where there is limited space between the mixer and the splashback as a +/- 45 degree turning mixer handle would hit the wall.
